Raupp headshotIASL Partnerships presents Andrew Raupp, Founder, STEM.org

Raised in a blighted Southwest Detroit neighborhood, Andrew has experienced the impact of positive role models and quality education on students first hand.

Combining his passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) with his desire to give back to the children of Detroit, Andrew founded STEM.org™; and under his leadership, it has grown from working with 50, K-12 students, parents, educators and administrators, to over 100,000 across the United States since its inception in 2001.

Andrew and his team are at the forefront of the STEM education movement and have played a critical role sharing its economic importance, focusing on post-industrial urban centers throughout the Midwest.  Among their many accomplishments: they developed the first STEM Accreditation credential for schools, districts and organizations, as well as the first state-compliant 6-12th grade Modern Arabic language program in the United States.
Andrew and STEM.org™ have received international recognition for their work.  Most recently, he was recognized as an Emerging Leader by the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and STEM.org™ was named the 2013 Michigan Career Educator & Employee Alliance "Employer of the Year".
